There's an ever-changing selection of used bikes, offering bike-shop quality at lower prices. We carry awesome, high value new bikes from strider to teenage sizes. Our featured brand is Marin, which delivers fun bikes at really appealing prices.

Trade-Up Program

Bikes are expensive enough even when the rider's size remains the same. Keeping your growing kids on properly fitting and functioning bikes is even trickier!

As a family bike shop, we totally get it! That's why we offer a generous trade-up program on new bike purchases. Here's how it works:

  • Applies to any NEW kids pedal bike (no striders; 12” - 24” wheels) purchased at RMA. Trade-in must occur within two years of original purchase date. Only original purchaser is eligible.

  • Trade-in bike must be transported to RMA and presented in person for inspection and proof of purchase before credit will be applied. (Lost your receipt? No worries! We can find it through our system!) Bikes that are modified outside of manufacturer specifications, that are damaged beyond reasonable repair, and/or that are in non-sellable cosmetic condition (in RMA’s sole discretion) will not be eligible for any store credit.

  • Store credit will be valued at 50% of the original pre-tax purchase price. Any service work and/or parts required to bring the bike back up to sellable condition – safe, fully functional, rust-free and presentable, in the sole discretion of RMA – will be billed and deducted from the available credit. Maximum trade-in credit is $300. No additional credit for upgrades or accessories.

  • Credit must be applied at time of trade-in towards the purchase of another bike of equal or greater value to the credit amount. Newly acquired bike must be of a larger wheel size. You may trade towards a 26” or 27.5” bike, but that bike will not be eligible for subsequent trade-in. Likewise, RMA will apply the credit to a used bike, but that bike will not be eligible for subsequent trade-in. If the credit is applied to a new bike, that bike will be eligible for another trade-in. Credit will be applied after accounting for taxes and fees of new bike purchase.

If you are not eligible to utilize this program, you may still utilize RMA’s regular trade-in or consignment programs! Just bring the bike to our shop during regular hours and talk to one of our associates about the best option for your family!
